Earlier this week at work I reached for a paperclip to bind some documents together and found myself holding a red paperclip. As I held it in my hand a memory flooded into my mind from a few years ago about a guy, Kyle MacDonald, who bartered his way from a single red paperclip to a house. If this story is not familiar to you, check out the attached video clip. It is a fascinating. MacDonald has also written a more in-depth account of the experience in his book.

Stories like the one red paperclip are reminders that 1) there is a lot of good that still takes place in the world, and 2) anything is possible (if you put your mind to it, right Marty McFly?).
