It’s here. After three weeks of games, 68 teams have been pared down to two. Tonight, the Louisville Cardinals and Michigan Wolverines face off in then national championship game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Louisville advanced to the title game by overcoming a 12-point deficit and foul trouble for three starters to win a 72-68 thriller over feisty Wichita State. Michigan marched on by gaining a double-digit lead over Syracuse and then staving off a furious comeback attempt by the Orange.

The victorious team will bring their school their first national championship since the 1980’s. They will also be the first Adidas-equipped team to win the title since Kansas won it all in 2008. Will Rick Pitino become the fourteenth coach in NCAA history to win two titles (and the first to win a championship at two different schools), or will John Beilein win his first? Tune in tonight (8:23 tip-off) and find out. Best of luck to both teams!
